OUR HISTORY

Creation and First Steps

Our history began in 1969, when Manolo Gil Cengotita founded the company with a clear vision: to develop innovative solutions in the sector.

In the 1970s, we took a step forward with the manufacture of conventional mechanical heads, and in the 1980s, we broadened our scope with the head repair service, laying the foundations for our leadership.

During the 1990s, we expanded into new geographical areas and extended our service to different brands in the market.

During the decade of 2000s, we set a milestone by manufacturing our first electro-spindle moulders, committed to technological innovation.

Consolidation and Leadership

In 2010, MYL reached new dimensions and positioned itself as a benchmark in the repair of multi-brand spindles for the automotive industry.

Our prestige leads us to be recognised as an official repairer by FRANZ KESSSLER, world leader in the manufacture of electrospindles. In 2018, we strengthened our international presence with the integration of SMZ ITALIA and the creation of MYL Group, a global network of specialists in spindles and electrospindles.

Globalisation and the Future

With a strategy of international expansion, in 2020 we establish strategic alliances in different countries, allowing local companies to offer our repair services globally.

In 2025, we take a major step forward with the opening of MYL China, a production centre designed to support our customers in Asia and offer multi-brand repair services locally.
