Family seal Since 1969
More than 55 years ago, Manuel Gil Cengoitia made a dream come true. And he did it in a 200m2 workshop in Elgoibar, where he began to make the first designs, manufacturing and repairs of machine tool spindles a reality.
Since then, MYL has been forged as a flexible, family-run company, always close to its customers and focused on creating products of exceptional quality. Today, that same dedication continues to be the driving force, understanding it as the only and best way to respond to the needs of those who trust us.
MYL TODAY
Today, under the management of the second generation of the family and operating in our modern 1,500 m² facilities in Mendaro, we have structured our organization with a renewed focus. Our commitment is focused on innovation, knowledge management and collaboration between companies, which allows us to successfully address the demands of an increasingly competitive and international market.
This philosophy is strengthened by the creation of work teams that, combining experience and an innovative and young spirit, promote technological advances that enable us to tackle the most demanding projects of the future.

SMZ ITALIA
SMZ Italia was born in 1998 in Mappano, Torino, specializing in the repair and maintenance of spindles and electrospindles for machine tools.
With over 30 years of experience and more than 25,000 units repaired, in 2018 it joined MYL Group, consolidating its presence at international level.
MYL CHINA
After several years of commercial presence, MYL takes the step to create a production site in CHINA with the dual objective of providing support for local customers, machine tool manufacturers, in the installation and commissioning of new spindles, and to offer a repair service, both for MYL brand spindles and multi-brand spindles.
At the beginning of 2025, Justin and his multi-disciplinary team join the MYL family, strengthening the ties that have united us for the past 15 years.
MYL's head office and plant were set up in the city of Langfang, a few kilometres south of the capital Beijing, with access to the main communication arteries to the east coast of the country.
The birth of MYL China is received with great enthusiasm and expectation by the MYL SPINDLES GROUP family and for the customers, both those who have their origin in the Asian country and the international customers who have plants located there.
